Chipata City Council is pleased to announce the successful handover of a dental chair valued at K119,950, funded under the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF), to Chipata District Hospital.
The procurement and delivery of this modern dental chair reflects the Council’s continued commitment to strengthening healthcare service delivery within the district.
The equipment is expected to significantly improve oral health services by enhancing efficiency, reducing patient waiting times, and improving the overall quality of dental care provided at the hospital.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Senior Medical Officer In-Charge at Chipata District Hospital, Dr. Emmanuel Kameya expressed sincere appreciation for the support rendered through the CDF.
“The addition of this dental chair to our facility is a significant boost to our dental department. It will greatly enhance our capacity to attend to patients more efficiently and in a more comfortable environment. We commend the Constituency Development Fund Committee and Chipata City Council for prioritizing health service delivery.” Said Dr. Emmanuel Kameya
Dr. Kameya further noted that the hospital has been experiencing increased demand for dental services and the new equipment will help reduce waiting times and improve patient outcomes.
